My sister is a lead illustrator, and my brother is a 3d sculptor. I feel like I missed out!

I design powerpoint slides and mockups at the best of my creative ability, but any tips on where to learn how to sketch as a newbie without needing to invest '10,000' hours ala Malcolm Gladwell style?

I have an iPad Pro and procreate, so I'm doodling when I can, so that helps a bit.
