Prioritising your backlog can't work without a clear product strategy
culture →strategy →objectives →priorities
What are the shared purposes and goals of the business? Who are your users, and what problems are you solving? Which solutions will provide the most value?
All of these questions should be answered well upfront in your strategy, before you begin going through your product prioritisation methods to groom your backlog.
Just make sure you don't sweep too many low-priority items to the bottom of the backlog. If left there for a while, they'll turn into what Roman Pilcher refers to as "zombie items"!
Fantastic write up from the master himself. Thanks for sharing 👍!
